Use a sturdy box
A cardboard box, not an envelope or a soft mailer. The box protects your media; padding alone does not.

Pack it snug
Fill the gaps so nothing can rattle around. There is no need to wrap each item separately.

Keep photos flat
Pack prints and albums so they cannot bend or be scratched in transit.

Include your paperwork
A printed copy of your estimate, or a handwritten note with your name, phone, email, and return address.

Ship with tracking
We recommend UPS or FedEx. With USPS, choose a service with real-time tracking, and keep your tracking number until we confirm your box arrived.

Can I mail my VHS tapes to be converted to digital?
Yes. Customers outside Southern California mail their tapes, film, photos, and slides to us. Pack them snugly in a sturdy box, ship with tracking, and we send everything back with your digital files.
I have a mix of VHS, Hi8, and MiniDV. Can I send it all in one box?
Yes, and it is better that way: one service, one order, and all of it on one drive in organized folders. Before you ship, count each format, label anything you want kept in order, and include your estimate or a note with your contact details.

Which carrier should I use?

A sturdy box, protective packing materials, and prepaid return shipping, from $35. Order one with your estimate and we send it to you.
How will I know my box arrived?
We call or email to confirm your shipment arrived and to go over your order.
How does my media get back to me?
With a Safe Shipping Kit, return shipping is already included. Otherwise return shipping is added to your order, or you can pick up at our studio in Orange. We email your tracking number when your order ships.
I would rather not ship. What are my options?
Drop off at our studio, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4PM, or ask about free local pickup for qualified orders in Southern California.
