Families going through "treasures" when moving can be a huge undertaking, and ours was no exception. Upon finding some 8mm of my wife's grandparents, Legacy Digital did an outstanding job of saving these "treasures!" The quality was unbelievable, and the difference between "C***co vs. Legacy was clearly defined, and most importantly, substantiated! Now, Legacy is working on MY Family's 8mm, and should not expect anything else. A special thanks to Scott Foster and his staff @ Legacy, for their personal service (Delivered to my house) and wonderful quality. My entire family wants to thank you for bringing the reel to reels back to life on DVD. Although the tapes were old, the color and content were of the highest quality. Many family members lost photos in the California fires, so you can imagine the joy when they saw themselves on DVD. I highly recommend your trustworthy service to anyone wanting to preserve memories from reel to reel tapes.

The team at Legacy Digital Productions not only converted our old family films to digital media, but they also returned the film reels to us in better condition than when they were provided to them. Some of our film was brittle and breaking. They actually reconditioned the film so I think the originals will last even longer. But we don't need them because the picture quality from the transfers are amazing. Thank you so much for helping persevere these precious memories.

Legacy Digital transferred my entire collection of family 8mm films, 4000+ feet on 60+ reels to HD video on an external hard drive. Scott and his staff were responsive throughout the entire process from providing me with an estimate, letting me know when they received my films (I'm on the east coast), and when the job was completed. The final product was amazing! Additionally, all of the films were returned on their original reels. The price of Legacy Digital was well worth it. Scott was diligent in keeping me up to date on the progress. This is not the least expensive service, but you get what you pay for.

Scott is absolutely amazing! Extremely professional results and service. Don't waste your time with those cheap services at places like Costco where they send your film and old reels out possibly getting lost in the process. Lifetime memories should be entrusted with someone like Scott. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Legacy Digital did an excellent job transferring all of my 8mm and 16mm film (total 7800 ft.) to my hard drive. The job was done professionally and on time. Scott did an great job explaining the procedure and seems very passionate about his work. I highly recommend Legacy Digital for all your transfer needs. Thanks to Scott and his staff my grandkids can now easily view and enjoy their family relatives dating back to the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. Great fun to watch and listen to their reaction!

The guys at Legacy Digital are awesome!! I've had them work on about three different projects for me over the last 7 years, and the work had been top notch on all three services. The first: we found some very old 8mm reels of my dad and my grandfather. When I found them, I recognized what I thought they were, but I didn't even have a machine to play them on. I'd heard that Legacy did a great job with direct transfer (not recapturing on a screen) and color correction. Boy was I thrilled with the result!!! These movies were better (more brilliant in color) that what I remembered and it was amazing to see it all on a nice large HD TV instead of on an old grey 8mm screen, with a projector whirring loudly in the background. He offered me options to have it directly on a hard drive if I wanted to edit, onto a DVD, or bluray disc. We opted for the DVD since it worked on more of our players at the time. He uses a higher quality DVD than other outfits so we should be able to keep and enjoy these old films for a long time. The second: several years later, we came upon an entire box of slides in our attic some time ago, and I kind of held on to them for a while, trying to decide whether to transfer them to digital. I was SOOO glad I did! There were some absolute treasures in there. Pictures that brought back all kinds of memories and even some pictures I don't remember, but was able to recognize folks I hadn't seen in a long time, again because of the great quality of transfer. The third: not long after (about 4 months ago) we found the rest of the family's old Super 8 movies. I found the projector as well, but by this time I was already convinced that if I tried to play these old movies on an old projector without cleaning them and without knowing if the projector still worked...I might ruin the film. Scott had showed me before how they clean and lubricate the reels BEFORE doing the transfer, so I had them take this batch as well. Got them back, and watched them several times with popcorn. What a great family night activity!! They did everything I could have asked for and more. I give them my unqualified recommendation!!

Scott and Legacy Digital did an amazing job of converting 4,000+ feet of 1960's 8mm film on 45+ separate reels to Blu-ray DVD and an external hard drive. I'm only part of the way through the first of 3 DVD's and just what I've seen already is worth more than what I paid. I researched digital conversion services thoroughly before deciding to use Legacy Digital and they exceeded my high expectations. Great communication throughout the process with no surprises (other than how amazing these movies that I haven't seen in 40 years turned out). Thanks!

I just got my latest film transfers back from Legacy Digital, and I had to say WOW. I am totally amazed. I received some old 16mm films from my brother in law, that belonged to his Dad, and they were stored in the garage, some of them outside of a film can, some dusty and dirty. They are old WWII news reals, and other films. The edges were curing, and some of them smelled like vinegar, and I wasn't sure if they would be able to be transferred, so I called Scott at Legacy Digital to come take a look and see what he could do. They had done a great job on my super 8 films, and so I thought I would give it a try. He looked at them and said that they should be able to copy them. When I got them back, I was totally amazed. They were very clean and clear, one even had sound, which was a surprise to me, and some of them were also in color from back in the 40s. I am extremely happy with the work that was done, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They come and pick up the files, and then deliver them, so you don't have to worry about them getting lost in the mail, and the quality is amazing. I requested 1080P frame by frame scans with a digital copy saved on an external hard disk. Thanks again Legacy Digital.

I had a great time working with Scott, saving about 30 reels of film from my girls' childhood that they can now show to their kids. He was extremely responsive and very professional, the price was right, and he was even so kind as to get the digitized collection back to us before Mother's Day!

I just has an old VHS of our ship's decommissioning given to me and I had no idea what to do with it. Legacy took care of that (DVD and MP4) and were very friendly and professional. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Legacy Digital did a fabulous job of getting our old family films and slides on dvd for my parents' anniversary. The quality was amazing and my parents were so surprised. Scott was so helpful picking up and delivering our order saving us time and gas money and keeping our fAmily treasures safe from the mail. I definitely would recommend them to anyone and in fact am calling them again to do all of our vhs tapes and camcorder tapes next.

At the fair i happened to stumble onto this great company after literally spending months trying to find a good company to convert my grand dad's old films and vhs. Low and behold, they talk me through their quality and practice, and I'm hooked! Because of the number i sent it took a short while, but the quality and price was amazing! This is long overdue... I just have to say "Thank You" Carter and the team at Legacy. My mother passed last year and I had about 5,000 feet of 8mm film. I've dabbled in video and then multimedia myself since High School and figured I'd get to it someday. Well, when my mom passed it was time to get after it. Rather than tackle the job myself I entrusted the folks at Legacy to handle some cherished film that was 50+ years old. It was a little of a rush job, but Carter worked on it and had it ready for me sooner then promised. It was all on a external drive I purchased (at his recommendation) and my boxes of film were returned to me, spliced, labeled and in excellent condition. The digitized files exceeded my greatest expectations. The end result is better than the original film itself. HD, color corrected, no flicker and perfect frame rates. I cannot say enough about how great my experience was with Legacy. I highly recommend their services to anyone considering film conversion. Absolutely fantastic!

My Grandparents had 8mm films that I had transferred to dvd. Scott came to my home and explained in detail the process. When completed, he actually came to my job to deliver. I was surprised what a great job they did. So after some tears and laughs seeing 50 years of film, I have something to share with my children and grandchildren.
