Not only did you do a fabulous job, working with you made the whole process enjoyable. Picking up my films and also personally delivering them helped me feel safe about letting them out of my sight. I was deeply touched. I consider these memories priceless.

Families going through "treasures" when moving can be a huge undertaking, and ours was no exception. Upon finding some 8mm of my wife's grandparents, Legacy Digital did an outstanding job of saving these "treasures!" The quality was unbelievable, and the difference between "C***co vs. Legacy was clearly defined, and most importantly, substantiated! Now, Legacy is working on MY Family's 8mm, and should not expect anything else. A special thanks to Scott Foster and his staff @ Legacy, for their personal service (Delivered to my house) and wonderful quality. This is long overdue... I just have to say "Thank You" Carter and the team at Legacy. My mother passed last year and I had about 5,000 feet of 8mm film. I've dabbled in video and then multimedia myself since High School and figured I'd get to it someday. Well, when my mom passed it was time to get after it. Rather than tackle the job myself I entrusted the folks at Legacy to handle some cherished film that was 50+ years old. It was a little of a rush job, but Carter worked on it and had it ready for me sooner then promised. It was all on a external drive I purchased (at his recommendation) and my boxes of film were returned to me, spliced, labeled and in excellent condition. The digitized files exceeded my greatest expectations. The end result is better than the original film itself. HD, color corrected, no flicker and perfect frame rates. I cannot say enough about how great my experience was with Legacy. I highly recommend their services to anyone considering film conversion. Absolutely fantastic!

Legacy did a great job transferring a 400 foot reel of 16mm color movie film from 1943-1945. The quality was much higher than I expected, given that the films had been (improperly) stored and unused for about 50 years. I will be using Legacy to transfer more of these family treasures in the near future.

Legacy Digital did an excellent job transferring all of my 8mm and 16mm film (total 7800 ft.) to my hard drive. The job was done professionally and on time. Scott did an great job explaining the procedure and seems very passionate about his work. I highly recommend Legacy Digital for all your transfer needs. Thanks to Scott and his staff my grandkids can now easily view and enjoy their family relatives dating back to the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. Great fun to watch and listen to their reaction!

I inherited hundreds of feet of 8 mm film from my father. It was a mess, splices broken, film dirty, etc. Legacy Digital through Scott Foster took everything and arranged it as I wished, providing me with both DVDs and .mp4 files for my own video editing. The service is superb. If you have lifelong memories on film, do yourself a favor -- don't take them to cheapo outfits where you will get washed out, mismatched results. Use these people. Generations to come will view your digital files and Legacy Digital can make the results of the highest quality. They are very pleasant folks and produce a great product. I just got my latest film transfers back from Legacy Digital, and I had to say WOW. I am totally amazed. I received some old 16mm films from my brother in law, that belonged to his Dad, and they were stored in the garage, some of them outside of a film can, some dusty and dirty. They are old WWII news reals, and other films. The edges were curing, and some of them smelled like vinegar, and I wasn't sure if they would be able to be transferred, so I called Scott at Legacy Digital to come take a look and see what he could do. They had done a great job on my super 8 films, and so I thought I would give it a try. He looked at them and said that they should be able to copy them. When I got them back, I was totally amazed. They were very clean and clear, one even had sound, which was a surprise to me, and some of them were also in color from back in the 40s. I am extremely happy with the work that was done, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They come and pick up the files, and then deliver them, so you don't have to worry about them getting lost in the mail, and the quality is amazing. I requested 1080P frame by frame scans with a digital copy saved on an external hard disk. Thanks again Legacy Digital.

Scott and Legacy Digital did an amazing job of converting 4,000+ feet of 1960's 8mm film on 45+ separate reels to Blu-ray DVD and an external hard drive. I'm only part of the way through the first of 3 DVD's and just what I've seen already is worth more than what I paid. I researched digital conversion services thoroughly before deciding to use Legacy Digital and they exceeded my high expectations. Great communication throughout the process with no surprises (other than how amazing these movies that I haven't seen in 40 years turned out). Thanks!

At the fair i happened to stumble onto this great company after literally spending months trying to find a good company to convert my grand dad's old films and vhs. Low and behold, they talk me through their quality and practice, and I'm hooked! Because of the number i sent it took a short while, but the quality and price was amazing! They even fixed and cleaned up the films! This is by far the best digitized company around!

Good morning Scott, thanks again for the work you guys did. Turned out better than I thought it would. The clarity was amazing!

Very satisfied, but you have to be patient. I had 1700 feet of old (1950 - 70's) 8mm and Super8 film digitized. Converted to both SD and HD formats onto a disk drive that I supplied, so files are quite large (20GB for 8" reel - 400'). But the higher resolution (than DVD using mpg2 compression) is better for my purpose of video editing. HD is 1920x1080, but of course the image is still the original 4 x 3 aspect ratio (which makes the picture part 1440 x 1080) so as expected there are black bars on either side -- but resolution is as good or better than the film (some sites estimate 8mm film resolution to be around 800 by 600). It took about 7 weeks (they said 6 to 8 weeks), so be prepared to deal with that turn-around time. But quality was superb -- with the knowledge that film stock does degrade/fade over the years. But the video files that they produced was what was on the film, and in fact is _better_ than what I'd seen before with a projector, because now the lighting is consistent and doesn't fade or blur towards the corners.

My friends and family and I made some backyard Super 8 monster movies back in the 1980s. They were a lot of fun, and we remember them fondly. When the time came, I turned to Legacy Digital to handle the transfer. I knew Legacy was using a reliable scanner that handles film gently. I also knew that the owners and staff are actually just as knowledgeable about small gauge film as they are about the latest digital technology. They know and love the old stuff and the new stuff. Scott, the owner, made himself available to me anytime I had a question, and was very good about communicating the process to me. With my particular films, it was a voyage of discovery for all of us, believe me. The results are absolutely super. The staff at Legacy Digital really went above and beyond the call of duty to stabilize and color correct my particular 30-year-old footage. And it's obvious that my camera original Super 8 movie film, still every bit as precious to me even after digitizing, has been handled with gentle and respectful hands. That means a lot. When it comes to transferring your home movies, there are other options out there. Some are shady operators who may damage your film. Others are real professionals, but the ones I have in mind cater to the professional filmmaker and command high prices. If you want dynamite, professional results at a reasonable price, in my view, you need look no further. Legacy Digital is your first and only stop.

Scott, the owner of Legacy Digital made me ( a total non computer person) feel very comfortable and explained which media was best for converting our old memories from several different choices. He was so patient and communicated with me the whole way! I am thrilled with his expertise advice! I learned a lot from him! I had a lot of 8mm tapes I needed converted before they got the chance to deteriorate. After searching and searching I contacted Legacy Digital Productions. After a lot of hesitation and fear of losing tapes, I convinced my mom to finally have these tapes converted with assurance from Scott. Scott drove out to my house to personally pick up the 20+ tapes. When they were ready, Scott delivered them safely back. It's a truly priceless feeling to see your old memories played back.
