Why Not Just Buy a Box?
There are three common kinds of media conversion companies. Some sell you a box and charge you whether it is full or not. Others charge a small fee to ship you a box but keep their real conversion prices out of sight, and once they have your memories, backing out feels like more trouble than paying. And some bargain services send your media offshore, where quality control can suffer and irreplaceable items can be lost.

Is my estimate the final price?
Your estimate is built from the counts you enter, so it is as accurate as your counts. The final invoice reflects what we actually convert: film by the foot we measure, audio by the sound we recover, and blank tape is never charged. We count everything when it arrives, and you can call any time to check where things stand.
What if I do not know exactly how much I have?
Your best guess is fine. Round up, add a note, or call us and describe it. We count everything when it arrives and confirm before we start.
Do I have to pay anything now?
Building and saving an estimate is free, with no obligation. If you place an order, any deposit is collected when you check out or when your media arrives, and the balance is settled before your order ships or is picked up.
Can I save my estimate and come back later?
Yes. Save or email it to yourself from the estimator, and pick up right where you left off.
Is there a minimum order?
Conversion services have a $50 minimum. If your order comes in under that, the difference shows as a single adjustment on your estimate.
How long will my order take?
Processing times depend on our current queue and the size of your order, so call us at (888) 405-2685 for current processing times. Working toward a date? Ask about priority ordering, and we will tell you honestly what we can finish by then.
What happens after I submit my estimate?
You choose how to send your media: ship it yourself, order a Safe Shipping Kit, or drop it off in Orange. We confirm when it arrives, digitize everything in-house, and return your originals with your files. See every step.
