We are usually about 4 to 6 weeks out, but that depends on the season and current circumstances. Rush orders are available at additional cost. This will ensure that your order will be completed within one to two weeks depending on the size of your order. It is always difficult to say what exactly day your negatives will be done.
Everyone’s negatives are different and we take the time on every single order to make sure it is done right, even if we have to spend extra time and redo scenes until we are happy with them.

At Legacy Digital Productions, our negative scanning service expertly converts your negatives into high-resolution digital images at approximately 4300 DPI, super high resolution for true archival quality. We scan 35mm negatives, which is the most common format, as well as 126 negatives at the same price. All other sizes of negatives and positive film can also be scanned, see below for pricing. We handle negatives in rolls or strips with the utmost care, utilizing advanced scanning technology to ensure exceptional quality. Our process begins with a thorough cleaning to remove any dust or debris. We then scan each negative using professional-grade scanners, capturing every detail. But we don’t stop there, every scan receives fully manual color correction by a professional technician, not AI and not an automated algorithm. Our technicians then manually enhance each individual image using Photoshop tools to improve exposure, color, saturation, and more, correcting for aging, color shifting, and overall image quality. That’s the Legacy Digital Difference. Your digital files will be delivered as JPGs on a flash drive or hard drive, with an average file size of about 12 megabytes per image. We can also convert your scanned images into a playable slideshow on DVD or as a digital file.
