If a reel isn’t full, you’ll only pay for the amount of film on it, and we won’t charge you for damaged reels that can’t be converted. If you are in California and want to save tax, we can use a storage media provided by you, or put your files in the cloud.

Starting at just $0.35 per Photo
At Legacy Digital, we offer photo scanning service at 300 DPI, 600 DPI or 1200 DPI, and transform your cherished photographs into high-resolution digital files. We handle each photo with care, using advanced scanning technology to ensure the highest quality. We then scan each image using professional-grade scanners, capturing every detail with precision. After scanning, we can also apply color correction and restoration techniques to enhance the quality of your digital images. The final digital files are delivered as JPEGs with minimal compression while maximizing quality. We can also provide backup copies to ensure your memories are preserved safely for years to come.
Loose Photos
Loose photos are photos that are in good condition, not attached to pages or inserted in an album. They are usually in boxes or envelopes. They do not require special handling. Loose photos can be scanned at 300 DPI starting at just $0.35 per photo, 600 DPI at $0.40 per photo and 1200 DPI for just $0.45 per photo. Color correction is available for $0.25 per photo.

Photos in Albums
These photos are either in albums or attached to a page. They require special handling and attention. If we determine that they can safely be removed we will do so, however if we feel that removing them might damage the photos, we will not take them out. After photos are removed we will typically not put them back as the paper they are affixed to or albums or often acidic and can actually damage the pictures. These photos can be scanned at 300 DPI starting at just $0.85 per photo, 600 DPI at $0.90 per photo and 1200 DPI for just $0.95 per photo. Color correction is available for $0.25 per photo.
